We have been lucky to obtain the use of the MiskinMill Scout Village. A superb venue with accomodation, toilets, function rooms and even a woodland walk.
The site of the old Miskin Mill has been completely converted into a superb venue for our sort of event.
In true Scouting style.... the map reference is ST 046806 OS Sheet 170 !:50,000 series (Now get lost I dare you! )
Take the Llantrisant road from M4 Motorway Junction 34, turn left at the second set of traffic lights, take the first turning off the next roundabout, signposted "Catholic Church". Follow to Miskin Village, bear left at the monument and take the road again to the left of the Miskin Arms Public House. A narrow road leads you over the railway line and the Scout Village is on your left just after the sharp bend over the bridge.
