This is the Fifth Miskin Folk Weekend and also my fiftieth year, so I hope we will all have a really good time.

The weekend all happens in the small village of Miskin , one pub and two churches. The main focus of events is of course The Miskin Arms. Just around the corner is Miskin Mill Scout Village. Apart from being the very convenient campsite, the Scout Village is also the venue for concerts, folk club and dance displays, especially if the weather is less than friendly. Camping is available for a reasonable charge. Basic indoor camping is also available. Also on the site is the local Scout Hut, tried and tested over the years and home to the Saturday night Tympath/Ceilidh with The Miskin Mayhem Band with Patti Smith's Callers Collective !
